Lead strategic health service planning and performance initiatives that shape service delivery and future healthcare outcomes
The Director, Planning and Performance provides strategic leadership for health service planning and performance activities at Redcliffe Hospital. The role is responsible for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of planning and performance initiatives that support service growth, operational excellence and alignment with Metro North Health strategic priorities.
The successful candidate will work closely with clinicians, consumers, community representatives and executive stakeholders to drive service planning, performance monitoring and organisational improvement activities. The role provides expert advice on health service strategy, planning frameworks, governance, policy compliance and performance reporting while leading organisational change and service development initiatives across a complex healthcare environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Lead health service planning initiatives and strategic projects that support the delivery of sustainable, high-quality healthcare services.
- Provide expert advice on planning, performance, governance and health service development through the application of data analysis, planning frameworks and evidence-based methodologies.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with clinicians, consumers, executive leaders and external stakeholders to achieve shared organisational objectives.
- Lead organisational change, service improvement and performance management activities that enhance efficiency, effectiveness and system performance.
- Prepare high-level reports, submissions, briefing materials and strategic advice while ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and reporting requirements.
