The Opportunity

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll work alongside a skilled team carrying out a variety of rubber lining and pulley lagging work within our modern workshop.

No FIFO! No shutdown rosters! No constant travel!

What You'll Be Doing

- Measure and cut rubber sheets to suit customer specifications and engineering drawings

- Apply hot and cold bonded rubber lining as per customer specifications

- Preparing, bonding and finishing, hot and or/ cold, rubber-lined products

- Safely use workshop equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts (where licensed), grinders, sanders, and power tools

- Ensure correct identification and handling of materials throughout the production process

- Complete quality documentation and production records accurately

- Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Job Hazard Analyses (JSAs), and company procedures

- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met

- Report equipment defects, quality issues, and safety hazards promptly

- Assist with loading and unloading customer equipment and finished products





- Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople, apprentices, and production staff

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Experience in industrial rubber lining

- Experience with hot and cold vulcanising techniques

- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Willingness to learn current techniques and processes

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to accurately complete electronic forms, production records, and quality documentation

- Forklift License

- Dogman or Rigger License preferred
