About the Role

We are looking for a Front End Loader Operator to be responsible for the safe, productive, and productive operation of heavy-duty front-end loaders to move, lift, and load bulk materials (such as agricultural products). The operator plays a critical role in daily site operations, ensuring that trucks, hoppers, and processing plants are fed and loaded according to production schedules while maintaining the highest standards of safety and equipment care.

What You Will Do

Safety and efficiently operate a front-end loader to move, load and relocate bulk materials across the site

Load materials into trucks with precision to prevent overloading or spillage.

Manage stockpiles, ensuring materials are correctly segregated and storage areas remain organised and accessible.

Assist in general site housekeeping, leveling and grading working areas as required.

Strictly adhere to all site safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.

Actively participate in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks,



and safety hazard reporting.

Maintain a high level of situational awareness, safely interacting with pedestrians, light vehicles, and other heavy equipment.

Perform thorough pre-start and post-operational checks on the loader daily, accurately completing logbooks and inspection sheets.

Monitor equipment health during operation (e.g., fluid levels, tire pressure, gauges) and immediately report any defects, damage, or mechanical issues to the maintenance team.

Keep the cabin clean, tidy, and free of loose objects to ensure a safe operating environment.

What We Are Looking For

Valid Front-End Loader Ticket/Competency.

Valid unrestricted Driver's License (Heavy Rigid [HR] or above is highly advantageous).

Proven previous experience operating front-end loaders in a comparable environment (e.g., civil construction, mining, quarrying, waste management, or agriculture).

Strong understanding of heavy machinery operation, load weight distribution, and preventative maintenance basics.

Commitment to a "safety-first" mindset with a strong track record of incident-free operation.

Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and manual dexterity.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger operations team.

Clear and effective communication skills, including proficiency with two-way radios.

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Permanent Full-Time position (4 days from the CBD office and 1 day from home)
