Infravisory is an independent advisory firm dedicated exclusively to water infrastructure delivery. We operate in the space between early approvals and real-world construction, helping clients ensure projects are commercially realistic, buildable, and decision-ready before they go to market.
We combine deep water sector experience with estimator-led, constructability-driven commercial advice and we're growing our team to support that mission.
The Opportunity
This is a junior role within Infravisory's Cost & Commercial Advisory discipline, ideal for someone early in their civil infrastructure career who wants to build genuine estimating and commercial skills on real water infrastructure projects.
You'll work alongside experienced estimators and advisors, supporting the development of cost estimates and gaining exposure to how projects are priced, sequenced, and delivered.
Our Advisory Structure
Infravisory operates across four integrated service disciplines:
Constructability & Delivery Advisory
Integrated Risk & Decision Assurance
This role sits primarily within Cost & Commercial Advisory, while contributing across the integrated advisory model.
What You Will Do
Support the development of cost estimates across early feasibility through to detailed stages, under guidance from senior estimators
Assist with first-principles take-offs and quantity extraction from drawings and specifications
Help build cost models, ensuring assumptions are clearly recorded and easy to follow
Assist in applying contingency and risk allowances under direction from senior team members
Support the review of contractor pricing submissions by checking rates, quantities and completeness
Learn how estimating outputs are aligned with procurement and packaging strategy
2. Constructability & Delivery Advisory
Assist in reviewing design information against site and operational constraints, under guidance
Support the documentation of contractor-informed delivery methodologies
Help gather information on shutdown,
staging and access considerations
Flag potential sequencing issues for senior review
Contribute research and analysis to support value optimisation discussions
Assist in preparing high-level construction program inputs aligned to cost drivers
Support review of program logic and resource assumptions under supervision
Help compile information used in assessing schedule credibility
Flag sequencing or resourcing observations for senior team members to assess
4. Integrated Risk & Decision Assurance
Support the coordination and documentation of structured risk workshops
Assist with data gathering and analysis for cost and schedule risk assessments
Help prepare scenario and sensitivity analysis under guidance
Contribute to drafting Basis of Estimate documentation for senior review
Support administrative aspects of governance and audit processes
5. Capability & Discipline Development
As part of our 2030 growth strategy, you will contribute to strengthening internal capability:
Help maintain and update water-specific benchmarking and cost data
Support the refinement of estimating templates and internal processes
Build your own technical capability through mentoring from senior advisors
Assist with proposal inputs and project experience documentation
Contribute to Infravisory's growing library of internal knowledge and tools
