We’re looking for an experienced Inventory Coordinator to play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, integrity and control across our warehouse operations. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating inventory activities including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, discrepancy investigations, supplier returns and inventory reporting, ensuring our inventory records remain accurate and reliable.
Working closely with teams across Warehouse Operations, Assembly to Order (ATO), Quality Assurance, Reverse Logistics, Finance and our New Zealand inventory stakeholders, you’ll help drive inventory excellence, support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of Garmin’s supply chain operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient inventory outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Inventory Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock verification and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigating inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records across warehouse,
storage and production areas.
- Supporting raw material control activities for ATO production.
- Coordinating supplier returns and associated export and shipping documentation.
- Assisting with stocktakes, audits and inventory governance activities.
- Monitoring inventory trends and reporting to identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Partnering with cross‑functional teams to resolve inventory issues and support operational continuity.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory control processes and warehouse performance.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented professional who can confidently manage inventory control processes while building strong working relationships across the business.
You'll have:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain or logistics environments.
- Solid experience performing cycle counts, stock reconciliation and discrepancy investigations.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using WMS and ERP systems.
- Current LF and LO High Risk Work licences.
- A commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
