First Nations Trainee Project Administrator

Recruitflex is proud to be partnering with UGL to recruit this First Nations Traineeship opportunity within their Telecommunications division – supporting UGL’s Reconciliation Action Plan and commitment to creating culturally safe workplaces, meaningful career opportunities, and long-term employment pathways for First Nations peoples.
The Role
Based in UGL's South Bank Brisbane office, as a Project Administrator Trainee, you will provide broad administration and coordination support to project teams within the Telecommunications division, whilst also completing a Certificate III in Business throughout your first twelve months of employment.
Tasks will range from coordinating and tracking project activities, through to diary management, booking travel, developing documentation and reports, and more.
Your role will be packed with variety, enabling you to build and develop a broad skillset which will be complemented by your studies.
Setting You Up for Success
UGL is focused on supporting you to commence your traineeship with confidence.In week one of employment (commencing 10th August), you and your fellow trainees will all travel to Sydney (all flights, accommodation and meals provided) to meet your managers and peers, learn about UGL, undertake some initial training, and participate in cultural immersion activities. This will be organised and funded by UGL.
As you continue your traineeship, you'll benefit from:

What You’ll Need to Succeed
To succeed in this position, you must be computer literate, with some experience in using Microsoft Word (or Google Docs) to develop and edit documents, as well as the ability to create and send emails.
Additionally, you like to be organised, pay attention to detail and work as part of a team.
You’re eager to learn and develop new skills, committed to successfully completing a traineeship, and looking for an opportunity to build and grow your career.
Previous administration experience isn’t required, as this is an entry level opportunity which offers in-depth training in administration, project support, stakeholder engagement and more.
As these roles have been developed to support employment opportunities for First Nations peoples at UGL, applicants must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to be eligible to apply.
