JOB DESCRIPTION

As an ATM Installer, you will be responsible for installation, relocation and transport of self- service technology for Clients predominantly in the banking, retail and hospitality industry sectors. At times the work will include make good / minor works at the job site as part of the technology installation or movement.

Whilst the concentration of work will be in metropolitan locations, you will be required to travel to country and remote areas of your State.



Occasionally you may be asked to travel inter-state pending workload in other states. We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to installation, relocation, removal and refurbishment ATMs, cash coin We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an ATM Installer. No prior experience installing ATM machines is required – full training will be provided on the job.

This role includes early morning and night work to suit clients' needs (often banks). You will be required to work night shifts and then are eligible for a paid day off for every 4 night shifts worked. Meals are paid for during travel (requires trips up to 4 days around the state of Victoria). Overtime available.

What we’re looking for:

- A background in a trade qualification - Carpenter or Electrician preferred
- Positive problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to travel as needed for installations.

Bonus if you have:

- Experience driving trucks or transporting equipment
- A valid MR (Medium Rigid) Licence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an ATM Installer you will be required to:

- Attach and install ATM signage
- Install/de-install ATMs and associated modules (eg. coin side cars, teller cash recyclers)
- Diagnose installation problems and ad hoc perform necessary repairs




- Clean-up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
- Drive a truck to transport equipment and tools to job sites. (minimum MR licence required)
- Drive forklift to remove equipment from truck and in warehouse
- Assist and work with carpenters, painters and other tradespeople as necessary
- Handle and transport heavy, sensitive equipment, tools and building materials
- Handle and transport materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders)
- Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed
- Diagnose installation problems and perform repairs to ensure equipment fits properly
- Follow instructions from Project Managers and supervisors
- Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passers-by
- Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding)
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experience installing equipment preferred but not required
- Trade Qualification required (Carpentry or Electrical preferred)
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Driver License required
- MR license (essential) and forklift license preferred
- Ability to check blueprint,repair manualsand to read and interpret floor plans
- General knowledge of building products, construction terminology, and quality standards
- A basic understanding of construction industry regulations and safety standards.
- Must have right to work in Australia
- Must be able to obtain police clearance
- Trade qualification – electrical or carpentry preferred
