This is ahandsonrole for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in producing exceptional workmanship and enjoys creating unique outdoor environments that inspire children's play and learning.
About the Role
As a Landscape Carpenter, you willbe responsible forconstructing custom timber structures and bespoke nature play elements as part of our childcare playscape and landscape projects. Working from plans and drawings, youwillhelp bring creative designs to life whilemaintainingthe highest standards of quality,safetyand craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct custom timber structures, including forts, cubby houses, arbours, bridges, boardwalks, stepping paths, balanceelementsand other bespoke landscape features.
- Interpret construction plans,drawingsand specifications accurately.
- Deliverhighqualityworkmanship with strong attention to detail.
- Ensure all workcomplies withsafety standards, companyproceduresand project specifications.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to deliver projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean,organisedand safeworkspace.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong carpentry skills and experience in timber construction.
- Preferably 10years experiencein carpentry.
- A high levelof attention to detail and pride in your work.
- The ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- A solid understanding of safe work practices.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude,reliabilityand a strong work ethic.
