About the Role:
We are partnering with a well-established powder coating manufacturer based in Banyo, QLD to build a new afternoon shift team. We are seeking physically fit, reliable, and motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing or powder coating experience is highly regarded, but not essential, as full training will be provided to candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure full-time casual hours with the potential for long‑term ongoing employment. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal components for powder coating, operating production equipment, assisting with the powder coating process, performing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet high‑quality standards. You will also be expected to maintain production targets while following all workplace health and safety procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Manufacturing or production or warehousing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.
- Forklift Licence (LF) is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience as a Powder Coater or Industrial Spray Painter. (RECOMMENDED)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal products for processing by cleaning, sanding, masking, and hanging components.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Touch up and rework products where required.
- Safely operate production equipment and maintain a clean work area.
- Follow production schedules while adhering to workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general manufacturing and warehouse duties as required.
