The Role

Our Satellite & Space business is rapidly expanding, and as a result we're on the hunt for satellite field technicians to join our team. This role covers LEO and satellite communications installations at sites across Australia — from metro rollouts to remote and regional locations. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, you'll be part of a growing national field team.

This role involves extensive travel.

You'll be deployed to project sites nationally, often for multi-day engagements, so a genuine willingness to travel is essential.

What You'll Do

- Install, commission, and test LEO and satellite terminal equipment
- Perform site surveys, cabling, and antenna alignment
- Complete as-built documentation and commissioning reports




- Work safely to SWMS and client site requirements
- Liaise with project managers and clients in office

What We're Looking For

- Experience installing LEO, satellite, or similar RF/telecommunications equipment
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
- Current driver's licence (own vehicle/tools an advantage for contractors)
- Working with Children Check / national police check eligibility (client sites vary)
- Ability to pass site-specific inductions, including for government sites
- Own PPE and reliable availability for travel-based deployments
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Work Safely at Heights certificate
- EWP licence (WP High Risk Work Licence) or EWPA Yellow Card
- Prior telecommunications, satellite, or NBN field experience
- Existing security clearance (an advantage for government sites)
