The Opportunity

As a Career Consultant, you'll work one-on-one with clients from a wide range of industries across the ACT, helping them identify new career opportunities, develop job search strategies and achieve meaningful employment outcomes.

You may be supporting:

- A project manager transitioning after a workplace injury
- A community services professional seeking a new career direction
- A tradesperson exploring alternative employment pathways following injury
- A transport or logistics worker preparing for a successful return to work
- A manager rebuilding confidence after a challenging workplace experience

Every client has a unique story—and every outcome matters.

Using your coaching,



recruitment and labour market expertise, you'll help people rebuild confidence, identify transferable skills and move forward with purpose.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver personalised career coaching and career transition services.

Support clients with career planning, job search and return-to-work pathways.

Provide advice on resumes, LinkedIn profiles and interview preparation.

Help clients identify transferable skills and realistic career options.

Build relationships with employers, rehabilitation providers and referral partners.

Manage a diverse caseload while delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Empower people to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable employment.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with professionals who have experience in:

- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Human Resources
- Employment Services
- Vocational Rehabilitation or Workers Compensation
- Learning & Development
- Government (APS or ACT Government)
- Community, Disability or Health Services

You'll bring:

- Strong coaching, consulting or advisory skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
- A consultative, solutions-focused approach.
- Knowledge of recruitment, labour market trends and career development.
- Empathy, resilience and the ability to support people through change.
