Community Carers NSW is seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to support participants across the Sutherland Shire and St George areas. We are particularly looking for reliable support workers with solid availability who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

About the Role





As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants with a range of disabilities, helping them build independence and achieve their goals.

Your duties will include:

- Personal care
- Domestic assistance
- Community access and social support
- Supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals
- Building meaningful relationships while promoting choice, independence and wellbeing

Applicants with personal or professional experience supporting people living with dementia are highly encouraged to apply.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker in Australia, aged care, nursing and/or supporting people living with dementia
- Full availability across Monday to Sunday, with flexibility to work multiple shifts each week
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Current Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A warm, caring and professional approach
- Full Australian working rights
