Your Physio Advantage is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on the Central Coast in an NDIS-focused community role.

Our Central Coast office is located in Erina. Team members currently divide their time between working from the office, working from home and visiting participants in the community.
Your caseload will be geographically arranged wherever possible to minimise travel and keep appointments close to your home.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time position, with flexibility available for applicants seeking part-time employment.
As an NDIS Community Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred services through home, community and clinic-based appointments across the Central Coast.
Your caseload will be focused on supporting NDIS participants to improve independence, safety, participation and quality of life.
Depending on your experience and clinical interests, your caseload may include:
Functional Capacity Assessments.
Supported Independent Living assessments.
Specialist Disability Accommodation assessments.
Individualised Living Options assessments.
Assistive technology assessment and prescription.
Minor and complex home modification recommendations.
Capacity-building therapy.
Falls prevention and home safety assessments.
Collaboration with families, support coordinators and multidisciplinary teams.
Your caseload will be structured according to your experience and scope of practice. Clinicians new to complex NDIS work will receive structured support, mentoring and graduated exposure to more complex assessments.
We aim to provide a diverse but clinically meaningful caseload that ensures you are challenged, supported and able to develop a specialised area of interest.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a community-based NDIS caseload with structured triage to ensure referrals align with your experience and scope of practice.
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments in participants’ homes, community settings and our clinic.
Complete Functional Capacity Assessments and other complex NDIS assessments where appropriate.
Prescribe assistive technology and prepare supporting documentation for funding applications.
Assess and recommend minor and complex home modifications.
Deliver therapy and capacity-building interventions that support independence and participation.
Complete high-quality clinical documentation, reports and stakeholder communication.
Liaise with participants,
families, support coordinators, plan managers and other health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Participate in mentoring, professional development and clinical case discussions.

About the Practice
Your Physio Advantage is a growing allied health team of 32 people, including eight Occupational Therapists.
