About the Company

Our client is a highly regarded Tier 2 mechanical services contractor with a strong presence across New South Wales.

Specialising in commercial HVAC installation, service, and maintenance, they deliver reliable mechanical solutions across commercial offices, healthcare facilities, education precincts, industrial sites, retail environments, and major infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead their commercial service operations across Sydney.

This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC professional who understands both the technical and commercial aspects of service delivery and can successfully manage clients, technicians, subcontractors, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Managing day-to-day operations of the commercial HVAC service division
- Leading and supporting service technicians, subcontractors, and administration teams
- Managing preventative maintenance contracts and reactive service works
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Coordinating service schedules, labour allocation, and project priorities
- Reviewing service performance,



response times, and customer satisfaction
- Managing budgets, forecasting, and service department profitability
- Preparing quotations, variations, and maintenance proposals
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, quality, and industry standards
- Supporting business growth through new opportunities and client development
- Providing technical guidance and solutions to clients and internal teams

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager, Service Supervisor, or Senior Service Coordinator
- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical Services
- Strong commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience
- Experience managing technicians, subcontractors, and service operations
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems including:
- Chilled water systems
- VRF/VRV systems
- AHUs and FCUs
- Mechanical ventilation systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)

- Strong understanding of service contracts, maintenance agreements, and client management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong commercial and financial understanding
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Experience managing large commercial maintenance contracts
- Exposure to Tier 1 and Tier 2 environments
- Experience within healthcare, data centres, education, industrial, or government facilities
- Proven ability to improve service delivery, systems, and team performance
