We are Queensland’s largest hunger relief charity. Our vision is a Queensland without hunger.We believe that access to healthy food is a basic human right. Each week, we support 135,000 Queenslanders in crisis and provide breakfast to 52,000 children each school week. We work in collaboration with 350 Community Partners and 430 Schools. Alongside food relief, we rescue surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, reducing landfill and protecting the setting.We’realso focused on long-term change, partnering with communities to build fairer, more resilient local food systems.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer,you will play a key role in transformingorganisationaldata into meaningful insightsto support informedstrategicdecision-making,operationalperformanceand long-term sustainability. This is a uniqueopportunity to workacross the entireorganisation, partnering withleadersto developreportingframeworks,dashboards, businesscasesandanalyticalmodels thatdriverbetter outcomes for thecommunities weserve. Working across Cognos, Pronto,PowerBIand Salesforce,you willbe responsiblefordevelopingandmaintainingbusiness intelligencesolutions,supportingdatagovernanceinitiatives,improvingreportingcapabilityandprovidingcommercialinsightsthatassistdecisionmakers acrossprograms,fundraising,operationsandheadoffice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and enhance reporting using Power BI, Cognos,Prontoand other data sources to support different departments and board reporting.
- Assistwith pricing, grant analysis,fundingsustainabilityreviewsand businesscasedevelopment.
- Work closely with senior leaders and managers to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Supportbudgeting,forecasting,and businessplanningprocesses.
- Translate complex information into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Supporttheongoingdevelopmentand improvementoforganization-widereportingframeworks.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and analytically minded professional with a strong background in data analysis,reportingand business intelligence.
You will bring2-3years' experiencein a similar analyst role,withexperienceoperatingBItools andadvancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel.Experience withSQLanddatabaseconceptswill be highlyregarded.Youare comfortable balancing strategic and operational thinking, translating complex data into clear insights for stakeholders at all levels. You bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. A relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant equivalent work experience isrequired, alongside exceptional numerical and analytical skills anda track recordof delivering high-quality reporting and analysis.
