BMI Resource Recovery is a leading resource recovery business specialising in the recycling and recovery of materials from the building and construction industry. Operating facilities across Southeast Queensland, we are committed to reducing waste to landfill while maximising recycling and sustainability outcomes.

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Concreting Labourer to join our team at our Stapylton site.

About the Role

This hands-on role is focused exclusively on working with returned concrete. We are looking for someone who has solid concreting experience and can confidently carry out concrete placement, finishing, and general concreting duties with minimal supervision.

Hours of Work

This is a casual position, hours may look like:

6:00am start, Monday to Friday

Flexible finishing times, which can be discussed with your supervisor to accommodate other commitments where possible

Key Responsibilities

Constructing internal roadways using returned concrete

Boxing, pouring and screeding concrete

Maintaining a secure and productive work environment

Undertaking other duties as directed by your supervisor

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:





Have proven concreting experience

Be reliable, self-motivated and capable of working autonomously

Have reliable transport to and from Stapylton

Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Be physically fit and able to perform manual labour for extended periods

Have good verbal and written communication skills

Be comfortable undertaking repetitive tasks

Be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment
