- Compounding experience (preferred)
The role of our technician involves
- Compound a variety of products including creams, capsules, troches and other forms of medication.
- Dispensing prescriptions
- Prior pharmacy or dispensary experience is preferred but not essential for this role
- Manage all aspects of the office administration
- Communicating with patients and health care professionals over the phone
- Formulating prescriptions with the assistance of the Pharmacist
The Support Role
- Office Support: You'll be responsible for maintaining office files, data entry, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
You'll also handle incoming calls and emails, schedule appointments, and liaise with suppliers and service providers.
- Technical Support: You'll be involved in maintaining and troubleshooting the pharmacy's compounding and dispensing equipment. You'll also assist in integrating new technology into our systems and provide basic IT support to staff.
- No prior technical equipment troubleshooting experience is required as training will be provided
- Inventory Management: You'll assist in managing our product inventory, ensuring that we are well-stocked with necessary supplies and medications. This will involve tracking usage, predicting demand, and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Quality Assurance: You'll participate in quality control processes, inspecting products to ensure they meet our high standards and comply with regulations. You'll also be involved in implementing and monitoring safety procedures in the pharmacy.
- Training & Development: You'll have the opportunity to train new team members on our procedures and systems. You will also participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
