Production Draftsperson – Cabinet Vision (Full time)

Valley Kitchens & Joinery is an award-winning kitchen manufacturer servicing the retail joinery market and new home builders throughout NSW. Established for over 45 years, we have built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, innovation, and exceptional customer service.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Draftsperson to join our team at our modern office and manufacturing facility in Thornton.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing accurate, production-ready drawings and machining information for manufacture using Cabinet Vision.

Responsibilities

- Interpret approved plans and project documentation into production-ready drawings.
- Prepare accurate Cabinet Vision drawings ready for manufacture.
- Produce CNC-ready machining information for factory production.
- Ensure all cabinetry is correctly detailed, dimensioned and ready for manufacture.

- Order materials and hardware required for each project.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure projects progress efficiently.
- Identify and resolve drafting or manufacturing issues prior to production.




- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout every project.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in production drafting within the cabinet making or joinery industry.
- Advanced Cabinet Vision experience (essential).
- Experience preparing production-ready drawings and CNC machining information.
- A strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes.
- The ability to read and interpret construction and architectural plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A positive attitude and commitment to producing high-quality work.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Thornton. Remote applications will not be considered.
