Maintenance Coordinator Labourpower Altona North, Melbourne, Australia
We are seeking Maintenance Coordinator for our Client’s Altona North site.
Our client is part of a world leading plastics manufacturing business, with a growing presence across the globe. Due to a recent promotion, they are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the team. This is an ongoing casual position, working Monday to Friday, Assisting the Maintenance & Reliability Manager. There is a true Temp to Perm Opportunity for the right candidate. There is overtime available too.
Manufacturing and Production
- Temp to perm role
- $40-$50 per hour casual rate inclusive of casual loading and afternoon shift loading
- Commencing as soon as possible
- Monday to Friday 10.00am-6.00pm
Duties Include (but are not limited to)
- Manage spare parts inventory and storeroom activities
- Monitor stock levels and replenishment activities
- Conduct stock counts and inventory accuracy checks
- Raise purchase orders and source parts and services
- Coordinate maintenance resources, contractors and trades personnel
- Support shutdowns and daily maintenance planning
- Analyse equipment failures and support RCA investigations
- Review OEM manuals and identify spare parts
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers
- Maintain accurate records in MEX CMMS and prepare reports
The Successful Candidate will have
- Maintenance planning, coordination, reliability or engineering support experience
- Inventory management and procurement experience
- Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
- Ability to read technical manuals and spare parts catalogues
- Solid Excel and Outlook skills
- Experience using CMMS systems, preferably MEX
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
