About the role

Due to increased demand, we are seeking multiple skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Fitters to join our Mobile Maintenance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining underground mobile equipment, including but not limited to loaders, haul trucks, graders, and shotcreters.

Roster: 7/7 OR 8/6 (Day & Night Shift)

Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW

Travel options

Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the prospect to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance

DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance

FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne

Qualifications and experience

- Trade Certificate – Heavy Diesel Fitter or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in underground mining
- CAT Loaders
- ITS
- Agi Trucks




- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read pneumatic, electrical, & hydraulic schematics
- Strong commitment to safety
