About this Role
We are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative to join our Brendale Operations team on a full-time, six-month contract until February 2027.
You will be the 2IC to the Warehouse Supervisor, helping keep the warehouse running safely and efficiently. You will receive, store, prepare and dispatch stock, complete warehouse records and help coordinate daily work so customer orders are completed accurately and on time. You will also help guide other warehouse team members and share your knowledge, although the role does not have direct reports.
We are seekingsomeone who is reliable, organised and willing to take responsibility. Youshould be comfortable working as part of a team.
In This Role You Will
- Help coordinate the daily work of the warehouse team and support the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Receive, check, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods.
- Complete stock records, delivery paperwork and other basic computer-based administration.
- Help coordinate stocktakes and investigate stock differences.
- Make sure products are packed and stored correctly to prevent damage.
- Complete pre-delivery checks and basic setup or assembly work on EDMI products.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse and report hazards, incidents and near misses.
- The role works closely with other Operations teams and external logistics suppliers.
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have
- At least three years’ warehouse experience, or similar transferable experience.
- A current forklift licence.
- A current manual Australian Class C driver licence.
- Experience using computers and warehouse or stock-control systems.
- Good basic numeracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 20 kilograms.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- The confidence to guide, support and share knowledge with other team members.
- Basic technical assembly experience, or the ability to learn practical product setup tasks.
- Ability to work over stocktake period during Dec/Jan.
