We are seeking an eager and motivated Trades Assistant to join our Trailer Shed in Coffs Harbour on a full time basis.

This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach

What You’ll Do:

This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach:





- Assisting qualified tradespeople with mechanical repairs and panel work
- Preparing vehicles, components, and work areas for mechanical work
- Using hand and power tools to support mechanical tasks
- Preparing surfaces for fibreglassing (cleaning, sanding, masking)
- Mixing resins and applying fibreglass materials under supervision
- Trimming, sanding, and finishing fibreglass components to specification
- Supporting repairs to vehicle bodies, panels, and structural components

What You’ll Bring:

- Prior experience working in a mechanical workshop environment
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Have an eager and positive mindset
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
