Physiotherapist | Mobile | Community | Chinese-Speaking

We are a community-based organisation and we currently provide mobile services across Sydney. We provide services to: clients on the support at home, participants under the NDIS as well as private clients. We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team to service across North Shore, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Hills Area, and Western Sydney (location is flexible depending on your availability and preference). We offer flexible work hours to fit in with your life schedule as well as excellent contract rates. We are open to full-time, part-time, casual, or contract-based work arrangements.

HealthJoy Therapy is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Physiotherapist. New graduates are welcome to apply. You will be responsible for the delivery of therapeutic interventions for people with disability as well as the elderly.

More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

Deliver in-home Physiotherapy services based on current evidence-based practice

Demonstrate proficient clinical assessment skills, including collection of client information and selection of appropriate assessment tools

Able to identity impairments and prescribe appropriate exercises

Able to prescribe appropriate exercises targeting goals identified by the patients

Respond to clients’ feedback and take corrective action to ensure physiotherapy services remain suitable to their need

Complete clinical progress notes in a timely manner

About You

To be successful in this role you will be a self-driven and energetic professional with solid verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate your clinical reasoning, assessment skills, manual therapy, and exercise prescription. You will be a motivated, passionate qualified, who loves supporting people and their families in our local community. You will require the following qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification

Current AHPRA Registration

Current Professional indemnity Insurance

Experience with Home Care Package and NDIS (preferred)

Responsive to feedback

Current NSW Driver's License

Police Check

New graduates are welcome to apply

Able to speak Cantonese or Mandarin (preferred)
