The Sharks Group are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Duty Managers to join the team in preparation for the highly anticipated opening of Sharks Leagues Club later this year.

This is a unique prospect to be part of the opening journey from the ground up, helping shape the member experience, team culture and operational standards of one of the Sutherland Shire’s most exciting hospitality venues.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager – Leagues Clubs, this hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the venue, working closely with the Gaming Duty Managers, and ensuring a safe, efficient and high-quality experience for members and guests.

You will be an integral part of the venue leadership team, supporting operations across, food & beverage, events, promotions and member services while helping bring the Sharks experience to life.

This is an exciting time to join the Sharks Group as we continue to grow across hospitality, sport and community, with the opening of Sharks Leagues marking a significant milestone for the organisation.

Who We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will be confident, personable and a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will also:

Hold current RSA, RCG, ARCG, First Aid and CPR certifications

Have a minimum of two years’ experience in hospitality management or a similar role

Be self-motivated with a strong team-focused mindset

Possess excellent leadership and people management skills

Have a solid understanding of gaming and food & beverage operations, including relevant legislation

Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including accurate reporting

Display sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Be available to work a rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
