Are you ready to architect the infrastructure behind the next generation of global entertainment?

Drive the technical integration of a local animation studio into a global infrastructure. We are looking for a senior technical generalist with hands‑on experience in both physical data centre operations and AWS cloud architecture. A background in broadcast, media, or high-performance computing is highly preferred.

What You Will Be Doing

- Data Centre Migrations:Lead the complex migration and consolidation of physical data centre assets (server mapping, physical rack consolidations, and enterprise storage cutovers) into contemporary, global environments.
- Hybrid Systems Architecture:Design, configure, and deploy robust server infrastructure across a highly mixed OS landscape (heavy Linux, Windows, macOS) and AWS cloud environments.
- Configuration Management:Maintain and extend infrastructure automation using Ansible, Salt, and Windows GPO.
- Operational Coverage:Provide hands‑on day‑to‑day support, troubleshooting complex hardware and systems issues to ensure zero downtime in a live‑production studio environment.
- Documentation:Build clear runbooks and migration plans so the team can seamlessly operate the systems post‑integration.

The Engineering DNA We Need




We are looking for a deep technical generalist who operates with high accountability, takes smart risks, and thrives at the intersection of physical hardware and cloud infrastructure.

- Systems Fundamentals:Hands‑on experience administering complex, 24/7 live‑production systems (e.g., Broadcasting, Media, Animation, or High‑Performance Computing). Deep expertise in Linux is absolutely essential.
- Data Centre Operations:Proven, hands‑on experience executing physical data centre lifts‑and‑shifts, rack consolidations, hardware lifecycles, and bare‑metal server provisioning.
- Cloud & Automation:Strong practical ability to automate infrastructure using AnsibleorSalt, paired with commercial experience deploying into AWS.
- Systems Scripting:Strong practical ability to automate repetitive infrastructure tasks, server configurations, and migrations using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Enterprise Storage (Bonus):Familiarity with NetApp or Isilon storage arrays is highly regarded.

(Note: A dedicated partner team manages core networking - you only need enough general networking knowledge to architect and debug your systems!)

- Remuneration:$195,000 Base + Superannuation + Paid Leave entitlements.
- Flexibility:Hybrid working model based onsite at a premium studio in Moore Park, Sydney
