Thrive Advice is a growing accounting and advisory firm seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join our team in Orange, NSW. We're after someone who wants to own the client relationship - the wins, the important conversations, the "what should we do about this" calls (and genuinely enjoy it!).

We're a locally owned firm in Orange NSW with 50+ years of combined partner experience and 3,800+ clients across NSW. We help business owners answer three questions: where are you now, where do you want to go, and how do we get there together?

No jargon-for-jargon's-sake, no set-and-forget compliance. Just real advice and real relationships.

What you'll actually be doing

- Running your own portfolio of business clients - not just ticking their compliance box, but genuinely understanding their business
- Leading tax planning meetings, management reviews, and year-end meetings as the main point of contact
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, and making sure everything stacks up against current legislation
- Spotting the stuff that actually moves the needle - cash flow, structure, profitability - and having the confidence to discuss it directly with the clients
- Mentoring junior team members and keeping the work quality high across the board
- Working inside a pod with a Partner, junior staff,



and our offshore team, so you're never doing it alone
- Living in Xero (and picking up Karbon/XPM if you haven't already) and helping clients get more out of their systems

Who we're after

- CA or CPA qualified, or well on your way
- 5+ years in public practice, ideally with SME clients is highly regarded
- Someone who can run a meeting and hold a genuine commercial conversation, not just present a report
- Strong technically across financial and management accounting, tax, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and just as robust on the people side
- Comfortable mentoring and delegating, not just doing
- Someone who genuinely cares about the work, the clients and the people around them

$90,000 to $130,000 + super. We recognise experience and expertise, and will offer a salary that reflects your skills and capability.
