Drake Trades and Technical, a leader in recruitment for skilled trades, is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join a leading Australian manufacturer based in Bundaberg, QLD.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll coordinate the site's planned and preventative maintenance program, leading a team of Electrical and Mechanical Maintainers to maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime and support safe, efficient production.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating planned and preventative maintenance activities.
- Planning and prioritising daily maintenance workloads.
- Leading and supporting a team of Electrical and Mechanical Maintainers.
- Working closely with Production to minimise downtime and improve plant reliability.
- Managing contractors, suppliers and spare parts.
- Creating and managing work orders and purchase orders using SAP.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Supporting root cause investigations and maintenance improvement projects.

About You

We're looking for an organised and proactive maintenance professional with strong communication and planning skills who enjoys working collaboratively and is looking to take the next step in their career.



Ideally you will have:

- An Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance background or relevant industry experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong organisational, planning and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
- Experience using SAP (highly regarded).
- A genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
