About Re-Pump Australia

Re-Pump Australia delivers mechanical installation, refurbishment, commissioning, service and maintenance works across Queensland, with a strong focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.

Due to ongoing project requirements, we are seeking casual and permanent Mechanical Fitters and mechanically skilled tradespeople to support our workshop and project teams.

About the Work

Work may be based from our Sumner Park workshop or on project sites throughout Queensland and may include:

- Installing and replacing pumps, valves, pipework and mechanical equipment
- Pump station upgrades and refurbishment works
- Mechanical assembly, dismantling and equipment replacement
- Equipment alignment, testing and commissioning assistance
- General fitting, maintenance and installation work

Opportunities include short-term assignments, ongoing casual work, overtime, shutdowns and regional projects.

About You

We are interested in hearing from applicants with practical mechanical fitting, maintenance or installation experience.

Ideally, you will have:





- Mechanical fitting, maintenance, installation or construction experience
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- The ability to work safely and follow instructions
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card

A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or similar qualification is preferred. However, applicants with strong relevant mechanical, pump, industrial or installation experience are also encouraged to apply.

Experience in water and wastewater, pumps, pipework, welding or fabrication will be highly regarded.

Additional licences such as Confined Space, Working at Heights, Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Forklift, MR or HR will also be viewed favourably but are not essential.
