The successful candidate willbe responsibleforretail fundamentals, including outstanding customer service, reporting, promotions, and merchandising standards.You will help achieve sales and profitability growth, whilst whilstmaintaininga productive, and safe work environment. Youwill work closely withother Store Managersand theTrade teamto implement andmaintainsales growthwithin our Company Owned Stores and continue to strive for service excellence within the paintindustry.

Responsibilities

- Maintaintheteam's knowledge, skills, and behaviors to ensure a successful store culture.
- Tinting& mixingpaint,palletizingpaint drums, arranging orders for delivery &color; matching.
- Deliveries using the Store vehicle.
- Assistingto growstore revenueand targetsandhitting KPI’s.
- Maximizing the sales approach to focus on the features and benefits of PPG products.
- Assistingto implementmarketing and promotional plansto maximizesales potential.
- Maintainandcontinue development ofcustomer relationships.Offering advice/solutions to customers, both trade and retail.
- Operate point of sale system and prepare sales invoices following company policy.
- Deliver store customer service standards bydemonstratingand coaching colleagues the 4x3 Customer Service Protocol – Welcome, Understand, Solution, and Sell.
- Increase sales using the 4x3 Selling Application System – Preparing, Prime and Seal, Finishing.
- Assistto achieveand adhere toStore standards, including EHS, training &housekeeping.;
- Uphold andmaintainthe highest levels ofsafetyfor all team, customers & contractors.

Training





- Attend PPG state-based training–trade product,4x3Customer Service Protocol & Selling Application System.
- Undertakesalestechniques, store presentations, customer service, andethics training.
- Help with the training ofteam.

About you:

- Motivatedwith the ability todemonstrateinitiative.
- Experience in retail sales,with a strong customer focus,strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
- Ability toprioritise in a fast-paced setting.
- Visual Merchandisingexperiencepreferred, not essential.
- An eye for detail, with afocus on safety and driving sales results.
- Comfortable with technology - computer literacy isa must.
- AvailableMonday – Fridaybetween 6.30am – 4.30pm for a38 hourwork week.Occasionally weekendSaturdaywork may berequired.

Requirements

- A validdriver’s license.
- Permanent Working Rights.
- Paint industry experience is not mandatory – training can be provided.
