Position: Office Manager
Office Location: 60 South Street, Ipswich QLD 4305
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent, Minimum 38 hours a week
Salary Package: $75,000 – $95,000 per annum (plus superannuation)
Our client PRITHVEER PTY LTD is an established Australian transport and logistics provider based out of Ipswich, Queensland, operating since 2014. They specialise in delivering goods across hospitality and healthcare sector, supported by a dedicated vehicle fleet delivering general freight, palletised freight, same-day/next-day services. They require dedicated experienced Office Manager to oversee the office and administrative backbone of the business.
Responsibilities
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily administrative operations of the business, ensuring effective communication and workflow between office, warehouse, and fleet functions. The role involves developing and improving office systems, managing administrative staff, preparing rosters and schedules, recruitment and training, and maintaining efficient office resources.
Manages budgets, financial records, and compliance requirements to support smooth freight operations, fleet administration, and the overall performance of the business.
- Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the business office, managing office procedures, correspondence, office records, and information flow between administration, dispatch, and fleet teams.
- Develop, implement and review office systems, policies and administrative procedures to improve operational efficiency, document control, customer service processes,
and internal communication across the business.
- Liaise and coordinate with administrative staff and director, prepare workflow, and coordinate workload requirements to support freight, delivery, and business operations.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, induction, and training coordination for office staffs, ensuring staff are appropriately supported and aligned with company procedures and operational requirements.
- Maintain supplier records, and other administrative information systems to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company requirements.
- Manage office budgets, process financial administration activities, monitor expenditure, coordinate invoicing and accounts administration, and maintain financial records in conjunction with management and external accountant.
- Coordinate procurement, inventory control, and distribution of office supplies, stationery, equipment, and administrative resources to ensure the office operates efficiently and effectively.
- Manage communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including handling enquiries, and supporting service delivery requirements for the customers.
- Coordinate workplace facilities, office equipment, and administrative service requirements and supplier services to support a safe and productive working environment.
- Monitor administrative compliance requirements, maintain company documentation, support audits and reporting processes, and provide management with administrative information to assist decision-making.
Required Qualification & Experience
- Minimum AQF Associate Diploma or
- Higher-level Degree in related field; and
- A minimum of 1-year relevant experience
