What You'll Do:

Working from our Wacol branch,the successful applicant will be exposed to new and major water management projects and be responsible for providing a vital link between the project manager, the technical team, key stakeholders and the site project teams and activities.

You will support the project cycle from the quoting / tendering phase, through to the project planning and delivery phases by:

Interpreting project requirements and site works programs, and assists the Project Manager in developing workforce schedules to deliver on project outcomes safely, to specifications, and within budget.

Provides assistance and input to Project Managers on quotes during the tender phase and/or pre-arrange site materials, plant and equipment to effectively conduct work.

Liaises with site team and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient running of site works.

Is actively visible and engaged with the supervision of site teams, providing guidance and leadership in the resolution of issues, and driving an unrelenting focus on safety.

The Person

Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industrial field.

Proficient understanding of technical project life cycle

Experience in supervising, monitoring and assessing site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards,



and ensuring deliverables consistently meet set timeframes, budget and target requirements.

Demonstrable leadership ability to motivate, train and lead a project site team to drive a high performance culture, and deliver successful project site outcome.

Possess a strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment including identifying hazards and developing measures to maintain health & safety standards.

Effective communication, conflict resolution, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to organise effective work schedules, define priorities and coordinate resources.

Experience in reading plans, managing and maintaining construction site documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress reports.

Well developed and practical site problem solving skills with demonstrated success in resolving issues in the field and mitigating project risk factors (including contract variations and time delays).

Proven ability to engage proactively with project managers and relevant stakeholders on work planning, ensuringregular reporting on progress and site inspections.

Proven success in building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)

Construction Industry White Card

Class C Drivers Licence (QLD)

Beneficial Qualificationsand Experience

Working at heights

EWP High risk work licence

Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation

EEHA Certification

HV Switching

Current LVR & CPR

Leading hand or foreman experience would be highly regarded.

Minimum 5 year + post trade qualification with Leading Hand and/or Supervisory experience
