Remanufacturing & Production Process Analyst

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Remanufacturing & Production Analyst to join our team in Kings Park, NSW.

Reporting to the Remanufacturing Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our Remanufacturing and Production operations through inventory analysis, forecasting, scheduling and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with operational, technical and supply chain stakeholders, you'll help ensure the right parts are available at the right time while identifying opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.

You'll also be responsible for creating and maintaining build documentation for the overhaul of large diesel engines and engine sub-assemblies, ensuring information remains accurate, compliant and easy to follow.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Analyse forecasts, operational data and historical trends to support inventory and production planning.

Review remanufacturing and production schedules to determine inventory requirements and communicate forecasts to suppliers and the Penske Parts Distribution Centre.

Manage inventory, safety stock and core requirements to support operational performance.

Monitor core inventory including quantities, ageing, usage and value.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardise workflows and optimise business performance using Lean methodologies.

Analyse service and parts processes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Create, review and maintain build documentation for large diesel engine and engine sub-assembly overhauls.

Maintain document control and ensure build documentation is accurate, current and compliant.

Develop and update HSE and Quality documentation as required.

Collaborate with Remanufacturing,



Production and technical teams to support efficient operations and successful project outcomes.

About you:

A diploma, trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline.

Experience in planning, scheduling, forecasting or inventory analysis.

Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience analysing data and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Knowledge of Lean methodologies or continuous improvement practices.

Parts product knowledge and experience within the mechanical or heavy vehicle industry.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and ERP systems such as IDS.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams.

A proactive approach with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a cooperative team.
