We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's innovative team where you'll be involved in designing, developing and testing new products from concept through to production. This is a hands-on engineering role that will see you work across the full product development lifecycle, collaborating with experienced engineers and researchers to bring new ideas to life.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of a collaborative engineering team, you'll:

- Design mechanical components and assemblies from concept through to manufacture.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using Solid Edge, SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Build, assemble and test prototypes to validate new designs.
- Perform engineering calculations and design analysis.
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are practical, scalable and production-ready.
- Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, DFMEAs and risk assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement across products, equipment and engineering processes.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Production and Quality teams throughout the product development process.

About You





We're looking for an engineer who enjoys creating innovative solutions and isn't afraid to get hands-on.

You'll have:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- At least 3 years' experience in mechanical product design.
- Strong 3D CAD modelling experience using Solid Edge, SolidWorks or similar.
- Experience designing products from first principles rather than modifying existing designs.
- An understanding of GD&T;, engineering calculations and design validation.
- A practical, hands-on approach to prototype assembly and testing.
- Robust problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
