We are seeking a polished, energetic, and versatile Hospitality All-Rounder to join our dedicated team. While your primary focus will be managing front-of-house check-ins and guest reception with warmth and professionalism, you will play an integral hands-on role across various departments. This dynamic position is perfect for a true hospitality qualified who loves variety, takes immense pride in property presentation, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for our guests from arrival to evening wind-down.

The successful candidate will need to be on the ground in Strahan on Saturday 29 August 2026 for preparation and training.
Season commences: 1 September 2026. Season ends: 30 April 2027.
Training will be provided with support available throughout to ensure you feel confident in your role., You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, working closely with Head Chef and Owner, Mathieu Venezia.
1. Reception & Check-In: Warmly welcoming guests, managing seamless arrivals/departures, handling reservations, and acting as local concierge by booking regional experiences (like the river cruises and West Coast Wilderness Railway).
2. Housekeeping & Presentation:
Assisting with meticulous housekeeping and general cleaning duties to maintain our high boutique accommodation standards across guest rooms and common areas.
3. Food, Beverage & Bar: Delivering attentive, gracious bar and restaurant service, ensuring guests feel looked after by the open fire or in our dining spaces.
Lifestyle & Region
Strahan is a beautiful coastal town on Tasmania's west coast. You'll have two days off each week to explore and enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, sand dunes, boat trips and kayaking. The position counts towards the 88-day regional work requirement for Working Holiday Visa holders.
About the Candidate
- demonstrated experience in a boutique hotel, lodge, or high-end hospitality environment.
- exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural flair for customer service.
- a flexible, "can-do" work ethic-happy to transition seamlessly from the front desk to housekeeping or the bar.
- high attention to detail and pristine presentation standards.
- valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) or willingness to obtain one.
Work Environment
Strong hourly rate depending on experience.
