Botany Bay Design Solutions (BBDS) is one of Australia's most distinctive commercial art and design businesses and one of its most enduring, with nearly 60 years of creative excellence behind us. We are the only fully vertically integrated commercial art program in Australia, delivering in-house design, manufacturing, and installation across signage, murals, wayfinding, graphics, artwork curation, custom framing, and art selection.

About the Role

This is not an account management role.

This is for someone who gets genuine energy from opening doors, building relationships, and winning — someone who sees a blank pipeline as an opportunity, not a problem.

You'll be backed by a business with extraordinary depth, from concept design through to manufactured signage, large-format print, artwork , and professional framing and installation, all under one roof. What we need is someone to take that story to market and convert it into revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, target, and win new business across our core sectors: aged care, healthcare, hospitality, corporate, and government

Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline across NSW and beyond

Execute strategic prospecting plans with discipline and creativity

Lead client conversations, presentations, and capability briefings

Collaborate with our internal design, framing,



and production teams to develop compelling proposals

Represent BBDS at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

Maintain accurate pipeline tracking (CRM)

About You

Proven experience in a BDM or new business development role — ideally in signage, art consultancy, interior design, framing, construction, fitout, facilities, or a related creative/built workplace sector

A genuine hunter: you measure yourself by doors opened and deals closed

High energy, resilient, and commercially sharp

Confident presenter with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels

Relationship-driven, you build trust quickly and maintain it

Thrive in an environment where your effort directly determines your income
