The Role
As our new Grounds and Maintenance Officer, you’ll be hands‑on in keeping our parks looking spectacular and running smoothly. We're looking for a GMO at both of our sites - BIG4 Caloundra & BIG4 Maroochy River.
Your day‑to‑day will include:
Cleaning the pool and maintaining healthy swim conditions
Completing general maintenance tasks to ensure all facilities are in tip‑top shape.
Maintaining lawns, gardens, and common areas to keep them picture‑perfect.
Promptly addressing guest requests and reported issues with a smile.
Collaborating with your team to uphold the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Taking initiative and pride in your work to create a welcoming and polished environment for our guests.
On‑call (after hours) duties on a weekly basis.
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience in maintenance, pool care and groundskeeping (we love a hands‑on problem solver!).
Strong attention to detail - you notice the little things that make a big difference.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
The ability to work independently but also thrive as part of a team.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
