We are looking for a dedicated Senior Warehouse Operator to run the inbound function in our automotive spare parts warehouse. This is a hands‑on role, not an office-based role. The successful candidate will spend majority of their day on the warehouse floor where you will be the key person responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of all incoming freight. From the moment a shipment arrives, you will manage the process to ensure our inventory is accurate and stock is ready for the wider warehouse team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be responsible for
- Managing all inbound freight, including sea containers, air freight, and customer returns.
- Receiving and verifying stock against delivery documents and using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Taking the lead on investigating and resolving routine inbound and inventory issues.
- Prioritizing the daily workflow to ensure freight is processed efficiently and put away on time.
- Maintaining exceptional inventory accuracy from the point of receipt.
- Operating forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keeping the inbound area clean, safe, and highly organised.
Successful candidates must possess:
- A current LF Forklift Licence (essential).
- Proven experience in a warehouse receiving or inbound operations role.
- Experience unloading shipping containers.
- A background in automotive or spare parts warehousing.
- Previous work in a 3PL or customer‑focused logistics environment.
- Confidence using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
- A strong ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
- Experience investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
