Nichols Poultry Full-Time position Tasmania

Nichols Poultry Tasmania is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function across the business.

This standalone role offers the opportunity to partner with leaders, influence culture, and support a growing organisation. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, with day-to-day reporting to the Managing Director, you'll provide practical HR advice and leadership across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for:

- Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Managing employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations.
- Leading recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
- Coaching leaders and building people capability.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards and company policies.
- Supporting learning and development, organisational change and continuous improvement.
- Managing HR reporting,



records and people initiatives that drive engagement and performance.

About You

You'll have:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- 5 plus years' experience in a senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
- Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, agriculture or operational workforces (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships across the business.
