This is a permeant full time position, based from any GPH Hub with flexible work options available including a rostered day off each month!
As the Tenders & Grants Specialist, you will play a key role in securing government and sector funding to establish, expand and sustain health and mental health programs across our growing geographic footprint.
This role works closely with our clinical, operational and program teams to translate service models, community need and evidence based practice into compliant, competitive tender and grant submissions. It is suited to someone who understands tendering in the public sector and is motivated by enabling services to reach people who need them most.

Duties
- Manages multiple tenders and/or projects concurrently with competing deadlines.
- Works collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to ensure tenders are evidence-informed, meet funding criteria and are submitted on time.
- Produces high quality funding submissions for services and programs inline with the organisations Strategic Plan and priorities.
- Supports handover of tender submission to service establishment team upon award of contract.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, public health,
government, public policy, procurement, social sciences or a related field; and/or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience preparing tenders, grants, funding applications, business cases, proposals or similar submissions, with an understanding of funding, procurement or commissioning processes.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with proven ability to develop high-quality documents for a range of audiences. Able to present complex information in a clear, concise and persuasive way.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
