Are you an experienced Payroll Officer or Payroll Manager with a background in labour hire?
We are looking for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of labour hire and has the knowledge and confidence to manage various complex payrolls across multiple states, pay structures and awards.

About the role
Working from our office located in Murarrie with potential to work from home for the right candidate, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll function, invoicing, ensuring compliance with relevant awards, legislation and company processes.
This is a full-time position with the potential of growth and progression within the company. Salary will be dependent on your experience.
Key responsibilities
- Processing weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Invoicing
- Managing payroll queries from employees and internal staff
- Interpreting and applying multiple Contemporary Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Payroll reporting and reconciliations
- Processing leave, superannuation,
and other payroll obligations
- Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation and payroll regulations
- Working closely with our recruitment and management teams
- Onboarding new starter employee documents and information weekly (labour hire)
- Multiple CRN labour hire platforms
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience processing payroll in a labour hire or recruitment business
- Strong knowledge of Modern Awards and varying pay structures
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Experience with payroll software and Microsoft office
- Strong written and verbal skills
