Construction Manager – South East Queensland

Lead an In-House Trade Team | Quality Residential Delivery | Rewarding Role with a Growing Builder

One Solution Building Services is a Queensland-based building company with a strong reputation for quality residential construction. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead delivery across our SEQ projects and take ownership of our internal trade team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager - Construction, you'll take full ownership of residential project delivery across SEQ. Unlike roles that simply coordinate subcontractors, this position leads and develops our internal team of tradespeople, driving productivity, quality and safety on the tools and on site.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone with deep residential construction experience and genuine technical proficiency, who takes pride in running a tight, safe and well‑organised operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage and develop the internal trade team, driving performance, accountability and high standards on every site
- Take ownership of workplace health and safety in conjunction with our HSEQ Officer to set the standard, run compliant sites, and keep your people safe
- Oversee delivery of multiple concurrent residential projects across SEQ, on time and to a high quality standard
- Program and coordinate labour, trades and materials to keep works moving efficiently
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control,



resolving technical and construction issues on the ground
- Manage the certification process and ensure all works meet compliance and building standards
- Apply strong technical knowledge to problem‑solve and make sound decisions in a live construction setting
- Liaise closely with the GM - Construction, office staff and clients to ensure smooth, well‑coordinated delivery

About You

- Proven experience in a Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or similar leadership role
- High technical proficiency with a strong, practical understanding of residential building
- A genuine leader who can get the best from an in‑house trade team and hold a high safety standard
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to program works and manage multiple sites at once
- Excellent problem‑solving ability and confidence making decisions on siteA hands‑on, results‑driven approach and strong work ethic

Qualifications Required

- Cert IV in Building & Construction
- QBCC Supervisors Licence – or be eligible to hold
- Working at Heights accreditation
