About your new Role
As the Social Media and Events Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering Brighter Super’s marketing and events program. You’ll support the planning and execution of webinars, seminars, conferences and in‑person events, while helping to manage our social media presence and integrated marketing activity. This role suits someone who is organised, creative and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Support the planning and development of events, including audience targeting, timelines, budgets and content
- Maintain the events calendar and coordinate updates with Marketing, Growth and Advice teams
- Assist with market research to inform event strategy and decision‑making
- Coordinate digital and in‑person event logistics, ensuring a seamless and branded attendee experience
- Manage event communications including emails, invites, flyers and digital assets
- Support the creation and optimisation of event materials, merchandise and resources
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high‑quality marketing content
- Track event performance, prepare reports and use insights to improve future event activity
About You
You’re a proactive, organised and creative marketer who enjoys juggling multiple projects and working closely with different teams. You bring strong communication skills, a passion for events and social media and the ability to deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑moving workplace. You’re someone who sees problems as opportunities and thrives on collaboration.
- 1–3 years’ experience in social media, marketing, events or a related field
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for clear, engaging content
- Confidence managing social media channels and responding to community feedback
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- A creative, solutions‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, develop and maintain industry knowledge (including RG146)
- A member‑centric approach, ensuring all activity aligns with Brighter Super’s values and best‑interest duty
