Metromix is seeking a professional individual to join our Concrete Team as a Concrete Batcher Supervisor to undertake Batching, Allocating and supervision at our Silverwater concrete plant. Reporting to the Concrete Production Manager, you will be responsible for the allocation, batching and yard work of the concrete plant when required in a safe and efficient manner.
The position interacts closely with the Customer Service Centre, Concrete Plant Operations, Logistics and the Sales Team, and is a key position within the Concrete Team. Safety must always be of the highest standard within the daily operations.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Provide input into the raw material requirements daily
- Allocation of concrete trucks and batching of concrete through Command Series / Command Batch
- Allocations and Order taking for Concrete
- Co-ordinate repair and calibration of plant equipment
- Supervise day to day activities of a concrete plant
- Supervise maintenance contractors
- Operation of a front-end loader.
- Operation of a forklift.
- Available to work Saturdays
- Implement WHS and adhere to our SHEMS – Safety Health Environmental Management System and QMS - Quality management system
- learn and implementing fatigue management practices, load restraint and vehicle loading weight requirements

- Strong hard and soft skills, or the ability and willingness to be taught.
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- A First Aid certificate or willing to undertake the training
- A Forklift License or willing to undertake the training
- A Working Heights certificate or willing to undertake the training
- A Confined Space certificate or willing to undertake the training
- A Competency to operate a front end loader or willing to undertake the training.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
