Adaptable Support Services is a disability support provider based in North Ipswich, Qld. Our company was formed in response to the growing needs of people looking for tailored and client-centric supports. We are looking for an Client Service Coordinator to join our growing company. At the moment, the company is run by the three directors and as our client base and responsibilities grow, we hope to add someone to the team to work directly with us in order to ensure that our service remains consistent and reliable for both our team and our clients. This will start as a casual role Monday - Friday with an approximate 20 work hours/week (excluding on-call hours), leading to the possibility of a permanent position with growth.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1) Client Management responsibilities

- Management of physical and digital client documentation, and ensuring that these are up-to-date
- Conducting client intakes, completing relevant onboarding documentation, follow-ups and staff introductions
- Performing regular check-ins with clients and their families
- Attending stakeholder meetings
- Regular internal client and staff file audits in line with NDIS guidelines

2) NDIS Compliance

- Regular audits of staff and client files in line with NDIS guidelines
- Ensuring files remain updated and current including oversight of registers e.g. continuous improvement

3) Administration and hub responsibilities





- Provide administrative support to the company directors
- Maintain office/hub supplies and equipment, including regular stock-takes and orders
- Monitoring and partially managing the admin email and phone
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems, including completing various documentation and reports
- Industry compliance, such as ensuring that documentation is in line with NDIS and company standards
- Liaising with various stakeholders, attending face-to-face and virtual meetings, and keeping minutes

4) Additional Rostering and Recruitment responsibilities

- Liaising with and assisting the directors with rostering, including individual client and group rosters
- Assisting directors with the staff hiring process

5) Further responsibilities

- Support shift work – it is incredibly important to us that everyone who works at Adaptable has some support work experience. This is a practice that applies to all staff, including the company directors, as we never want there to be a disconnect between the staff and clients and those in management positions. Although this will not be a significant element of your role, you will be expected to take on sporadic shifts with our clients so that you may better understand their support needs.
- Group activity planning – at Adaptable we offer a variety of group services. As part of the role one of your responsibilities would include assisting with the researching, resourcing and planning of group activities
- On-call phone responsibilities – once you have received sufficient training, you will be required to attend to the on-call phone outside of regular work hours as required.




- Networking events – you will have the potential to attend various networking events representing the company within the community, ensuring that you are able to maintain current connection and have the opportunity to form new ones

About You:

- Knowledge and Understanding of the NDIS framework and sector, including hands‑on experience working directly with the disabled community or similar experience (e.g. support work or youth work) (essential)
- Computer literacy and confidence in using the Microsoft Office Suite (essential)
- 1+ year of experience in Case Management/Service Delivery or similar role within the NDIS sector (preferred)
- Be proactive and have the capacity to work well in both a team-oriented team environment and autonomously
- High attention to detail and the capacity to prioretise and manage multiple tasks/projects
- Have a good moral and ethical compass is a must! You must be willing to stand up for both your clients and your coworkers rights, having the best interest of both staff and clients in mind
- The applicant must also have or be willing to obtain the following:
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Working With Children Check/Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card
- Hold a ‘P’ or open license
