Plumbing By Rhys is a growing Gold Coast-based business, and we’re looking for a reliable, motivated, and skilled Qualified Plumber / Gas Fitter to join our team.

We specialise in residential plumbing, bathroom renovations, maintenance plumbing, gas fitting, and the installation of both wood and gas fireplaces. No two days are the same, offering a diverse range of work across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and maintaining a professional reputation within the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leak detection and repairs
- Bathroom, kitchen and laundry renovations
- Plumbing rough-ins and fit-offs
- Hot water system installations and repairs
- Gas fitting and appliance installations
- Installation of wood fireplaces and flue systems
- Installation of gas fireplaces and associated gas services
- Stormwater and drainage works
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Using our digital job management system
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting apprentices and contributing to team development

What We’re Looking For

- Current QBCC Plumbing Licence
- Gas Work Licence (preferred)




- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Professional presentation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Positive attitude and solid work ethic
- Fireplace installation experience is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
