Prince Auto Electrical is a family-owned and operated auto electrical workshop on the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in automotive diagnostics, air conditioning, caravans, campers, 4WDs, touring vehicle fit-outs, dual battery systems, solar installations, towing solutions and vehicle accessories.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our team from August 2026 onwards.

This is more than just a technician role.

We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing business and contribute across all areas of workshop operations. Along with carrying out quality auto electrical work, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in customer service, quoting, job management, stock control and workshop operations.

Whether you’re an experienced technician or recently qualified, we’re interested in finding the right person with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to continue learning and growing with the business.

About the Role:

- Auto electrical fault diagnosis and repairs
- Automotive air conditioning diagnosis, servicing and repairs
- Caravan, camper and 4WD electrical installations
- Dual battery, lithium, solar and inverter system installations
- Accessory fitting and vehicle upgrades
- Customer quoting and job management
- Processing invoices and completing jobs through workshop management software
- Stock ordering and inventory management
- Customer communication and support
- Contributing to workshop efficiency and business growth
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or recognised equivalent)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Certificate II or III in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology
- Experience using Mechanic Desk workshop management software
- Experience preparing customer quotes and invoices
- Experience with stock ordering and inventory management
- Experience with caravans, campers and off-grid power systems
- Experience with dual battery, lithium, inverter and solar installations
