Workfast are seeking an experiencedMaintenance Officer to join a busy Waste management facility in Yatala

- Yatala, QLD
- $41/hr + Penalties + Overtime
- Day Shift |

This is a hands-on role working working on a wide variety on task and duties

Benefits

- $41 per hour + penalty rates
- Overtime available with OT pay rates
- Consistent day shift (5:00am – 1:30pm)
- 8 -10 weeks role

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair
- Plumbing
- Welding
- Building Maintenance
- Forklift License required
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations
- Follow strict safety and maintenance procedures

About You

- No formal Qualification required
- Previous experience in a maintenance,



handyman, or similar role
- Practical experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
- Basic plumbing and welding experience (highly regarded)
- Experience in general building maintenance and repairs
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and safe work practices
- Experience working in industrial, construction, or waste management environments (desirable)
- Forklift operation experience and a current forklift licence (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
