Established over 25 years ago, our client is a highly successful 100% Australian owned private Developer / Builder / Owner Operator of projects such as upmarket Retirement Living Villages / Gated Communities etc in the Camden Valley / Illawarra / Shoalhaven regions of NSW.
They currently have a mix of projects under various stages of construction in the Camden Valley / Illawarra /Shoalhaven regions of NSW with several more under design stages in various regional NSW locations.
These include a mix of High-Rise Apartments and Low-Rise residential projects with communal amenities such as libraries / Cafes / Gymnasiums / Pools etc.
Due to continued growth and expansion plans, they are now actively looking to engage a Senior Contracts Administrator /QS /Cost Planner or similar - someone who can scope works and put together comprehensive tenders- using Realtime data - for inhouse projects.
This can be anything from a $10K kitchen refurbishment to a $30m new build extension to an existing aged care facility.
Based in modern offices in the Camden Valley / Oran Park / Campbelltown area and reporting directly to the General Manager of Construction - the successful candidate is likely to have:
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia. Sorry - No overseas candidates.
- At least five plus years Australian experience undertaking pre and post contract duties on projects such as the above.
- A demonstrated track record in being able to value add - and / or re-engineer projects to deliver a better outcome for all parties.
- Experience with current estimating software packages such as Procore / CostX/ Cubit / Buildsoft / Bluebeam / Breadcrumb etc will be required.
- Current White Card.
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner with all parties - this includes a current team of 25 plus staff.
- Ability to identify risk and chance.
- Checkable References
- Outstanding Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and police checks if required.
- From time to time - Regional travel may be required
