BSF Mobile Cranes is seeking a motivated, reliable and safety-focused Yard/Store Person to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on role responsible for ensuring our crane yard operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, presentation and organisation.
Working alongside our operations, maintenance and crane crews, you'll play a vital role in preparing equipment for work and ensuring our fleet is ready to meet customer demands.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing lifting equipment for crane crews
- Signing equipment in and out of the rigging shed and stocktake
- Loading and unloading trucks and equipment.
- Washing, cleaning and detailing mobile cranes, trucks and support vehicles.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe rigging shed and crane yard.
- Moving vehicles and equipment around the yard.
- Conducting basic inspections and reporting damage or maintenance issues.
- General labouring and yard maintenance/organisation
- Assisting mechanics and crane crews when required.
- Managing waste, recycling and general site upkeep.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
About You

- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Takes pride in keeping equipment and work areas clean and organised.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Is physically fit and capable of manual labour.
- Has a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Is punctual, reliable and willing to learn.
Desirable Qualifications
- Current HR Driver Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Dogging or Rigging Licence (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience working around heavy equipment, transport or construction machinery
- High Risk Work Licences (advantageous)
