Introduction The GIANTS are on an exciting journey both on and off the field. With teams in the AFL, the AFL Women’s League and Super Netball competitions, the GIANTS truly are a club like no other. On field, the AFL team has quickly grown into one of the most competitive teams in the league and is focused on providing a fantastic experience for all their fans around the country.
This position is responsible for supporting the Membership and Ticketing department by providing marketing, administrative and communication support to ensure the delivery of various membership and ticketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate membership and ticketing campaigns from end to end including database management, processing, reporting and communications.
2. Develop content for digital marketing to promote membership and ticketing campaigns through various digital channels including social media and EDMs.
3. Provide a high level of customer service and support to existing members and prospective members regarding all membership and ticketing enquiries, including in-person, over the phone, via email and on social media.
4. Assist with the development of membership and ticketing communication plans and schedules.
5.
Work with the Membership Manager and Ticketing Manager to develop strategies to drive membership growth and increase ticket sales.
6. Assist in the delivery of match-day operations, including assisting with member services on match days.
7. Ensure that the membership database is maintained and updated with accurate information.
8. Liaise with other departments to coordinate events, promotions and activations associated with membership and ticketing initiatives.
9. Perform other duties as required by the Membership Manager or Ticketing Manager.
Skills and Experience
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience with CRM databases.
4. Understanding of digital marketing principles and social media engagement.
5. A passion for Australian Rules Football and/or sports in general.
6. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required.
